Jennifer's artistic journey begins with a deep connection to nature. Her work primarily focuses on abstract interpretations of landscape and coastal environments, drawing inspiration from places she has travelled to and spent time in. Each piece is a personal reflection, transforming memories and feelings into a visual narrative.
Our unique techniques and materials
Jennifer employs a rich array of materials to bring her visions to life. She uses paint, pen, pencil, oil pastel, and collage, adding layers of texture and depth. A final layer of matt varnish protects each artwork, enhancing its longevity and aesthetic appeal. The paintings are crafted on a variety of surfaces, including high-quality paper, traditional canvas, or sturdy wood boards, each chosen to complement the individual piece.

What began as a creative endeavour in a small grey shed in her garden, has flourished into Grey Shed Designs. Jennifer has now upgraded to a larger, dedicated studio space in Stockport, United Kingdom. This expanded environment allows for greater artistic freedom and the creation of even more inspiring works. It's here that ideas transform into tangible art, ready to find their new homes.
